Sumi Soaker Riser Stake Driving Sleeve

A reusable steel cap that protects the top of your Riser Stakes while you drive them into the ground. Slides over the top of the stake, takes the hammer impact, and prevents the stake end from mushrooming so the Riser Clamp still seats cleanly.

What it does

A reusable steel cap that protects the top of your Riser Stakes while you drive them into the ground. Slides over the top of the stake, takes the hammer impact, and prevents the stake end from mushrooming so the Riser Clamp still seats cleanly.

Who needs one

If you're installing more than a handful of stakes — a full bed or a multi-bed setup — a sleeve is worth it. For one or two stakes, you can usually get away with a block of wood on top. Past that, the time and frustration of trying to seat clamps onto mushroomed stake tops adds up fast.

Pairs with

The Sumi Soaker Riser Clamp is the matched top piece — it seats onto the stake and holds the Sumi tubing in the clip. Stakes and clamps are sold separately so you can match pack sizes to your bed count.
